Introduction
From the June 1, 2024 there is no visiting for the test for driving licence at the RTO office because from June 1, 2024 new rules for the driving licence are updated from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. They are recently announced new changes in the driving licence rules from June 1, 2024.
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has updated new changes in the driving licence rules from June 1, 2024 and bringing the driving licence process more simplifying to the people or public to get the driving licence.

Changes in Rules
The chnages in the rules for driving licence test are given below step by step to undersatnd clearly and to know what are all the rules changed by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
No RTO
Say NO to RTO office to visit to give your test to get a driving licence, the new rules for driving licence as changed and don’t need to visit any office to get the driving licence. This is the one of the significant change in the new rules for driving licence 2024. You can give your test in the private driving schools and if you pass in the test, they will give you a certificate which can be used to apply for the driving licence without going to RTO (Regional Transport Office) and giving the test at RTO.
The centre will issue the cerificate for the private driving schools and autorized them to conduct a driving test to the candidate or who want driving licence. If they didn’t receives the certificate from private driving school then they must appear in the RTO for the driving licence test to get the driving licence.
Fine
Without the driving licence, driving a car or motorcyles is offence and they must pay the penalties for driving a car or mototcyle without a valid licence and the penalty must be paid as per the rules in the new changes.

Requirements for Private Driving School
- The private driving school requires the minimum land of one acre for the training.
- The private driving school must be a certified.
- Need experts or trainer to teach them a proper driving to candidates.
- The trainer must know all the rules and regulations.
- The trainer must be experienced (minimum 5 years) person to teach.
- Theory and particle classess must be taken for the cadidates to aware about driving rules.
How to apply for new driving licence
- Visit https://sarathi.parivahan.gov.in/
- Select you state
- Select new driving licence from the driving menu option
- Fill the application form with details
- Visit the RTO on given dates with the original documents
